What are the requirements for jadooBox?

Is there a subscription fee for using jadooTV?
No, there is no subscription to use jadooTV.
Will jadooBox replace my cable box?
No. The jadooBox supplements the cable or dish STB and expands the consumers’ reach to millions of videos on the Internet for greater enjoyment.
What types of TV does jadooBox support?
The High Definition jadooBox supports both composite (1 video + 2 audio) and HDMI inputs.
How many TVs can I connect to a jadooBox?
What quality should I expect from jadooBox?
The quality depends on the internet source. Best quality can be seen on the channels which are being broadcast at 500 to 800 kbps.
What video resolution does the jadooBox support?
jadooBox supports 480i, 480p, 720i, 720p, 1080i, 1080p.
What are the supported audio outputs?
jadooBox HD support the RCA audio output(stereo). It also supports audio through HDMI.
Jadoo2 supports SPDIF optical audio.
How much network bandwidth is required for proper operation of jadooBox?
At least 1 Mbps connection is required from your internet service provider.
How do I determine my Internet connection speed?
Click the Settings menu on the Home page of the user interface. Select the Network Speed Test from the menu and follow the directions.
I have a high speed DSL or cable modem that connects to my computer via USB. How can I add jadooBox to this setup?
jadooBox requires a wired Ethernet connection to work. If you have a modem which only gives you one USB and one Ethernet connection, then you will also need a router. The router lets you connect multiple devices to your Internet connection with ease.
Do I need a router, and which one?
A router is needed when you want to connect more than one device (PC and jadooBox) to your internet connection. Router will connect between your modem and jadooBox or PC. Most routers these days are wireless type. This means you can place jadooBox in a different room from where your router is and connect wirelessly to your network by using the optional wireless USB adapter. Wireless routers recommended are of 802.11g/802.11n type from manufacturers Linksys or Netgear.
How do I connect the jadooBox to the Internet?
You could connect the jadooBox in one of two ways. Wired or wireless. For wired connection, connect your included Ethernet cable to a free port on the router. For wireless, connect the jadooBox USB wireless adapter to the USB port of the jadooBox at the rear and follow the on-screen instructions or on the on screen menu select Settings-> Network-> run Wireless Wizard.
Which external wireless USB adapter does jadooBox support?
Only the jadooBox wireless 802.11g/n adapter.
What is the purpose of USB extension wire that is included in the package?
The USB extension cable needs to be connected to the jadoo2 box and wireless N-Key adapter is to be plug-in to the USB extension cable. If you don’t do this you will face signal drop problem.
What wireless security modes are supported?
• WEP (Preferred for JadooHD)
• WPA (Preferred for Jadoo2)
How do I power cycle the jadooBox?
You could power cycle the jadooBox by pressing the Power button on the remote for 8 seconds or you could disconnect the power adaptor input and reconnect after few seconds.
How do I get the best signal from my remote?
Keep the jadooBox in line with the remote for good reception of the remote signal.
Why the jadoo2 do has two USB connectors?
One USB connector may be used for connecting the jadooBox USB Wireless 802.11g/n adaptor. Others may be used for connecting an external USB storage device like a Flash drive or a hard drive (upto 1TB, FAT32 format).
Does the jadooBox have an internal hard drive for storage?
No. You could however connect an external USB hard drive through the USB 2.0 port at the rear of the jadooBox.
How can I view my YouTube™ favorites playlist on jadooBox?
Please create a YouTube™ account by going to www.youtube.com using your PC. You can then add videos in your favorite playlist. Once this is done, sign into your YouTube™ account from jadooBox and view videos from your favorite playlist.
What if I cannot see the jadooBox user interface after I connect the jadooBox?
Make sure that the TV input is set to the port where the jadooBox video cable or HDMI (HD) is connected. Also for the HD jadooBox make sure that during set up, the HDMI cable was connected before the power cable.
How do I change the size of the video playback window?
Use the Func +/- buttons on the remote to increase or decrease the video playback window size.
How do I rate, bookmark, pause or find related videos when I am in YouTube™?
Press the Menu key to see a list of all the available functions.
How do I find more information on a selected video?
Press the Info key to see more information.
Can I download and save a movie?
No, jadooBox currently does not provide the option for downloading a movie. But you can watch your stored movies through your USB flash drive or a USB external hard drive by simply connecting it to either of the USB ports at the back of jadooBox.
How to search in movies?
Go to the movies section. Press the search option on Jadoo remote. Enter the name of movie you want to search then press OK.
